This vase is turned from a piece Cottonwood from a tree that was recently damaged in a storm. The tree had extensive worm damage, that was bad for the tree, but as you can see worked wondefully for the final turned product. Final drying of the vase left the rim slightly warped, which adds to the inique character of this piece. The vase is approximately 8.5 inches tall with a widest outside diamter of 5.25 inches. Rim diamter is 5 inches.
